SIMON SKINNER has been performing as a magician and entertainer  professionally for 22 years specialising in close-up magic and children's magic.  He has also worked  in the entertainment industry in South Australia over  the last 30 years as a musician and occasionally, a theatre technician.

 He has been involved in  numerous theatre productions as a lighting and sound technician including working with Adelaide's Peter Goers and  Matthew Byrne in Adelaide productions including Kiss of the Spiderwoman  and Something's Afoot .  

Simon is  also a  qualified Audio Engineer and  a drummer for  over 35 years.  He has played in numerous popular Adelaide bands including The Jack Daniels Band, Mushrooms after Dark and The Sensational Sidewinders who performed a  regular gig every Saturday night following the stage show at the Night Train Entertainment complex during its hey-day in the 1990's.

Simon  performs  roving magic for corporate and private events, MC Hosting with a magic touch for any occasion like quiz nights and other club events. Simon also performs highly entertaining Children’s Magic Shows and he is a dexterous & creative balloon modeller as well!

Simon is constantly developing  his entertainment  with exciting new magic routines  for  all-age audiences. 

From 2012 - 2015 Simon was the South Australian presenter and coordinator of the Professor Maths Activities Program in primary schools throughout South Australia. The Professor Maths Traveling Roadshow also operates in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.

Simon married his partner of 14 years,  Sharon in 2008  and in July 2012 they had their first child, a beautiful son Jaiden.

In 2019 Simon celebrates 22 years performing magic in South Australia.
