Simon
Skinner
has
been practicing and entertaining with magic for 39 years since
the age of 6 and he has been performing
professionally for 15 years. He
has gained valuable experience in the entertainment industry
in the last 28 years from working in theatre as a sound and
lighting technician involved in productions for
Adelaide's Peter Goers and Matthew Byrne including Kiss
of the Spiderwoman and Something's Afoot which gave him
valuable experience following completion of a Diploma
course in Audio Engineering in 1988. A drummer for 30 years,
he has played in numerous Adelaide bands including The Jack
Daniels Band, Mushrooms after Dark and The Sensational
Sidewinders who historically performed a regular gig
every Saturday night following the stage show at the Night
Train Entertainment complex during its heyday in the 1990's.
These days magic entertainment is his primary passion and
focus. Simon performs Roving Magic for Corporate
and private events, MC Hosting with a magic touch for any
occasion as well as stage illusions. Simon
also performs highly entertaining professional Children’s Magic
Show for all age kids! Simon
is constantly progressing his shows with exciting new magic
routines for any audience possibility.
Sharon
Skinner is
Simon's wife and has been working with him for almost 7 years as his Magic Assistant.
Sharon's background includes 3 years of professional modelling,
10 years of bodybuilding which has resulted in her winning
numerous South Australian State titles. Sharon also has an
extensively trained background in Martial Arts.
Sharon
occasionally performs
with Simon at Corporate Shows and other events.
Sharon
and Simon were married in September 2008!
