Simon Skinner has been practicing and entertaining with magic for 36 years since the age of 6 and he has been performing professionally for 13 years. He has gained valuable experience in the entertainment industry in the last 25 years from working in theatre as a sound and lighting technician involved in productions for Adelaide's Peter Goers and Matthew Byrne including Kiss of the Spiderwoman and Something's Afoot which gave him valuable experience following completion of a Diploma course in Audio Engineering. A drummer for 30 years, he has played in numerous Adelaide bands including The Jack Daniels Band, Mushrooms after Dark and The Sensational Sidewinders who performed a regular gig every Saturday night following the stage show at the Night Train Entertainment complex during the 1990's. These days magic entertainment is his primary passion and focus. Simon performs Roving Magic, Stand-up performances and Children’s Shows. He is constantly progressing his shows with new magic presentations and ideas for all age audiences. Sharon Murrell is Simon's partner and has been working with him for almost 4 years as his Magic Assistant. Sharon's background includes 3 years of professional modelling, 10 years of bodybuilding which has resulted in her winning numerous South Australian State titles. Sharon also has an extensively trained background in Martial Arts. She is currently rehearsing new magic routines for future shows. Sharon also attends many Corporate and other events as Function Photographer.
Sharon and Simon will be married in September 2008!
